1. ALMOST 100 YEARS OF HISTORY

 

Owatrol, a unique brand that brings together several strong expertise since 1923.

The first comes from the United States with the creation of metal corrosion protection products.

The second, originating from Scandinavia, brings traditional mastery of wood protection and maintenance, especially in the marine environment.

This dual expertise has allowed the brand to develop products that have crossed generations, such as OWATROL® OIL(anticorrosion) or even to invent the now well-known term "saturator" with TEXTROL® for soft wood.

Thanks to the thousands of projects we have supported over the years, we have gained expertise.

 

2. STANDING THE TEST OF TIME

Wood and metal are frequently used outdoors for their unrivaled resistance. Whether it's for decks, cladding, cars, motorcycles, or boats, they make up and animate your daily environment.

However, their durability is threatened: exposed to rain, sun, and UV rays, wood and metal gradually lose their aesthetics and performance.

4. BEYOND PRODUCTS

 

The R&D Laboratory works for today and tomorrow, implementing actions to advance on fundamental societal issues, particularly around our environmental responsibility (reduction of our carbon footprint, development of bio-based products, etc.).

Our teams seek the products of tomorrow and improve our existing products so that their environmental impact is as limited as possible while guaranteeing their performance.

The guiding principle is to make durable products for long lifespan and spaced maintenance.

OWATROL® incorporates vegetable oils into many formulations.

The real challenge that drives us every day is to increase the share of components derived from biomass while further improving product efficiency.

In March 2019, we joined the Association of Plant Chemistry to exchange and find solutions to environmental issues in our sector, and on this basis, we collaborate on many research projects.

OWATROL® equipped itself in November 2019 with an ultra-innovative and high-performance robotic logistics infrastructure,  to respond in the most efficient way possible to customers and partners.

THE LUC1 MOTOSPORT TEAM

Led by Ludovic Lucquin, multiple times French, American, Spanish, and Swiss champion in the S1-S2-S3 categories.

This French team brings together the new talents of Supermoto riders of tomorrow and travels the world to achieve feats on their two-wheelers.

The Luc1 teams use TRANSYL® (to degrease and lubricate without attacking the seals) and POLYTROL® (to clean and revitalize plastics and chrome) on a daily basis.
