Recommendations before application

• Recommendations before application:
The surface must be clean, dry, non-oxidized, dust-free, and degreased.
Previously remove any corrosion residue and old finish.
The surface should be as rough as possible.
• Product preparation:
Add 2% hardener to the putty for a setting time of 10 minutes.
In cold weather, increase the hardener dose, while in hot weather, decrease it.
The quantity of hardener will adjust the setting time without affecting the final hardening.
Example of average proportion: One coffee bean-sized hardener for a walnut-sized CHOUKROUT putty.

Application

• Application:
Mix the CHOUKROUT putty and the hardener. Once mixed, apply the putty to the areas to be filled using a spatula.
Apply a necessary layer for the repair. The hardening occurs uniformly without shrinkage. One application is sufficient. After hardening, it can be machine sanded.
• After application:
Clean tools immediately after use.
Be careful not to incorporate the remaining putty/hardener mixture into the pot of pure putty.
