Recommendations before application
The surface to be treated must be clean, dry, and free from grease stains. For oxidized surfaces or those previously painted, remove any non-adherent parts and sand the surface lightly.
• Always estimate the amount of paint needed to ensure completion of the work.
• Mix the pots together for each coat.
• Do not dilute.
• Stir well before and during use to keep the pigments suspended.
• For oxidized surfaces, lightly brush with a metal brush.
• For surfaces previously painted and/or heavily oxidized, it is recommended to apply a coat of pure RUSTOL-OWATROL®* before the first coat of RUSTOL-DÉCO for better long-term results.
• If using a spray gun, add 5 to 10% RUS
