RUSTOL-DECO GLOSS : Decorative anti-rust paint

RUSTOL-DECO GLOSS is an anti-rust paint that provides enhanced rust protection and decorative features on all surfaces. Its ultra-performing formula is highly resistant to external aggressions (high heat, weather, humidity) and adheres very well to different surfaces (wood, metal, garden furniture).. It ensures high-quality results throughout the year. RUSTOL-DECO is also available in three mica shades.

RUSTOL-DECO is an anti-rust paint available in 11 glossy mica shades. RUSTOL-DECO ensures enhanced anti-rust protection and decoration on all surfaces.

Easy to use.
Can be applied directly on rust thanks to the penetration, isolation, and adhesion qualities of RUSTOL-OWATROL®*.
Adheres to all surfaces; RUSTOL-DECO penetrates the smallest pores, securely attaches, and truly integrates with the surface.
Very good resistance to weather, humidity, and pollution.
Can be applied directly on lightly oxidized metals.
Flexible, non-brittle film.
Resistant to temperatures up to +175°C.

• Interior / Exterior.
• Ferrous, non-ferrous metals - galvanized, aluminum, zinc - wood, plastics, expanded polystyrene, and even glass.
• Grilles, balconies, garden furniture, shutters, verandas, various metal structures, etc. Doors, door frames, furniture, radiators, pipework, machinery, etc.

The surface to be treated must be clean, dry, and free from grease stains. On oxidized or previously painted surfaces, remove non-adherent parts and sand the surface lightly. Always estimate the quantity of paint needed to ensure completion of the work.

Mix the pots together for each coat.
Do not dilute.
Stir well before and during use to keep the pigments suspended.
On oxidized surfaces, lightly brush with a wire brush.
On previously painted and/or heavily oxidized surfaces, it is recommended to apply a coat of undiluted RUSTOL-OWATROL®* before the first coat of RUSTOL-DECO to achieve better long-term results.
When applying with a spray gun, add 5 to 10% RUSTOL-OWATROL®* depending on the type of nozzle used to achieve the desired viscosity for RUSTOL-DECO.

Apply a layer of RUSTOL-DECO. Allow 24 hours to dry.
Apply a second coat of RUSTOL-DECO.
MAINTENANCE:
Routine renovation:
Apply one or two coats depending on the condition after cleaning, removing non-adherent parts, and sanding the surface.

Overdue renovation:
On a heavily damaged surface, revert to the bare substrate by sanding or stripping, then apply 2 coats.

Note: After sanding/sanding, always thoroughly dust off the substrate.
