Properties
This Copper coating is applicable on properly prepared surfaces. This product provides a copper appearance and, with the combined application of COPPER SPIRIT, allows for natural Verdigris decorative effects. Odorless.
Destination
REACTIV LEAF COPPER can be applied on all surfaces (except copper) that are properly prepared, sound, clean, and dry.
For difficult-to-adhere surfaces (plastic, glass, ceramic, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, etc.), the prior application of ABSOLUTE PRIMER is necessary.
For surfaces sensitive to acids (certain plastics, tannic woods such as Oak, Chestnut, etc.), prior application of BLOCKING PRIMER is necessary.
For difficult-to-adhere surfaces (plastic, glass, ceramic, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, etc.), the prior application of ABSOLUTE PRIMER is necessary.
For surfaces sensitive to acids (certain plastics, tannic woods such as Oak, Chestnut, etc.), prior application of BLOCKING PRIMER is necessary.
Application
Shake well before use.
Ready to use, do not dilute.
Apply a coat of REACTIV LEAF COPPER using a brush or roller (medium nap) to cover the healthy, dry, clean, and properly prepared surface (see above).
Wait 6 hours before applying a second coat of REACTIV LEAF COPPER, then, after 5 minutes, spray COPPER SPIRIT to activate the still wet REACTIV LEAF COPPER and create your natural Verdigris decoration.
Apply the product between 5°C and 25°C in the absence of adverse weather conditions and residual humidity.
Decoration tip:
Applying REACTIV LEAF COPPER with a brush using a dabbing motion allows you to achieve a very natural Verdigris effect (see video).
It is possible to correct your decoration after complete drying by locally reapplying REACTIV LEAF COPPER and/or COPPER SPIRIT according to the method above.
