Description
OXID VERNIS SATIN is a single-pack clear varnish, enhanced with polyurethane-modified alkyd resins. It is designed for application on new or oxidized metals previously treated with OWATROL OIL, while preserving the natural appearance of the surface. OXID VERNIS SATIN offers a blend of performance and ease of application, boasting long-lasting durability, high UV resistance, and suitability for harsh climates.
Destination
Suitable for both interior and exterior use (Matt: interior only).
Can be applied to horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Ideal for new or oxidized surfaces.
Compatible with both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Suitable for furniture, gates, fences, ornaments, pergolas, etc. (NOT recommended for floors – see FLOOR VERNIS).
Application
Use as is. Do not thin.
Stir well before and during use.
Apply 1st coat of OXID VERNIS and allow to dry 24 hours.
Sand surface with 280 grit abrasive and thoroughly dust off.
Apply 2nd coat of OXID VERNIS.
Note: Adding OWATROL OIL to OXID VERNIS, makes brushing easier and gives OXID VERNIS even greater flexibility, further reducing the risk of peeling and cracking.
Stir well before and during use.
Apply 1st coat of OXID VERNIS and allow to dry 24 hours.
