Properties
OXID VERNIS is a single-pack clear varnish, enhanced with polyurethane-modified alkyd resins. It is designed for application on new or oxidized metals previously treated with OWATROL OIL, while preserving the natural appearance of the surface. OXID VERNIS offers a blend of performance and ease of application, boasting long-lasting durability, high UV resistance, and suitability for harsh climates.

Recommendations before application
Cover and protect everything you do not wish to coat.
Apply between 10°C (50°F) and 30°C (86°F).
Do not apply in direct sunlight or to hot surfaces (35°C+ (95°F+)).

Application
Use OXID VERNIS as is; do not thin.
Stir well before and during use.
Apply the first coat of OXID VERNIS and allow it to dry for 24 hours.
Sand the surface with 280 grit abrasive and thoroughly dust off.
Apply the second coat of OXID VERNIS.
Note: Adding OWATROL OIL to OXID VERNIS makes brushing easier and provides even greater flexibility, reducing the risk of peeling and cracking.
