Destination

Exterior use.
All woods: Teak, Ipé, Bangkirai, Acacia, Massaranduba, Douglas, Larch, Oak... Iroko/Azobé (contact us for advice).
All vertical and horizontal surfaces: decks, pontoons, gratings, handrails, furniture, steering wheel...

Recommendations before application

The wood must be clean, dry (3 days of dry weather - maximum wood humidity 18%), sound, and prepared according to the applicable standards - free from dust, mold, grease stains, and any old coatings.
Do not apply in direct sunlight during the hottest hours of the day. Ensure that it will not rain within 24/48 hours after application.
The relative humidity should be around 50% for optimal drying. Be cautious of morning dew.
Protect anything that should not be treated.

Application

Do not dilute. Mix the product well before and during application to avoid any risk of sedimentation.
Apply a generous layer of TEAKPROTECT along the wood grain and over the entire length of the plank, focusing on the ends.
Apply a second layer when the wood no longer appears wet (approximately 15 to 20 minutes after the first layer). Never let it dry between coats. Apply "wet on wet."
Smooth out any excess product (or wipe it off) before it dries to avoid any drip marks or shine upon drying: TEAKPROTECT should penetrate into the wood and not remain on the surface.
If applying with a spray gun, smoothing is always recommended to improve penetration and achieve a uniform appearance.
