Recommendations before application
The wood must be previously treated with DEKS OLJE D.1, or even with RUSTOL OWATROL for specific applications.
The wood must be clean and completely dry during application.
Do not apply DEKS OLJE D.2 in humid weather or late in the afternoon.
Since DEKS OLJE D.2 can make the surface slippery, it is preferable, in the case of frequently trafficked areas (gratings, pool surrounds, etc.), to use only DEKS OLJE D.1.
Do not dilute.

Application
Apply 3 to 6 coats of DEKS OLJE D.2 depending on the exposure of the substrate.
Allow a minimum of 12 hours drying time between each coat.
It is not necessary to sand between coats.
Allow 3 to 4 days to dry before putting into service.
Note: Splashes or drips of DEKS OLJE D.2 must be removed before the product dries. After drying, stains are very difficult to remove, so it is important to be very attentive and remove these stains immediately after application.
