Ideal for your DIY and home-staging projects.

Properties

**Always test on a small area to assess the effectiveness and compatibility of the product with the substrate.

Effortlessly strips away with a simple water rinse. Suitable for wood**, metal**, and gelcoat.

Gel-based formula in aqueous phase, does not run. Solvent and paraffin-free. Non-flammable.
Renders the coating water-soluble, avoiding tedious scraping.
Non-volatile, does not dry out, and remains active for a long time.
Removes multiple layers in a single application (leave it to act for several hours).
Allows for complete stripping of wood** as it also removes impregnated wood tones.
Does not attack plastics, rubbers, synthetic coatings, and sound gelcoats.
Ideal for large surfaces or intricate substrates.

Destination

Recommendations before application

Always carry out a preliminary test on a small surface.
Apply MARINE STRIP using a nylon brush or a paste brush.
Wear rubber gloves, appropriate protection, and goggles.
The action time can vary from 15 minutes to 12 hours depending on the type of coating and the number of layers to be removed. Monitor its action using a spatula.
As stripping is never neutral on absorbent surfaces (wood), always neutralise with DECK CLEANER***.

Application

Apply a thick layer of MARINE STRIP over the entire surface to be stripped.
Let the product sit according to the indicative table below.
If it dries out, reactivate by lightly spraying with water.
When the coating is ready to be removed, rinse thoroughly with a strong jet of water while brushing (with a synthetic brush) or with a high-pressure cleaner (with a maximum pressure of 50 bars).
On wet wood, immediately after rinsing, neutralize imperatively with DECK CLEANER***. If necessary, lightly sand the dry wood (maximum grain 100) to even out the surface before applying a new finish. The use of hot water makes stripping the coating easier.
Application temperature +10°C to +30°C
Coverage per coat 4 m²/l
Dangerous. Follow usage precautions. May be corrosive to metals. Causes skin burns and serious eye damage.
