Recommendations before application
• Protect all areas that should not be treated, including plants.
• Apply between +5°C and +30°C. Do not apply in direct sunlight or on very hot wood, as the product may dry too quickly.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not apply on aluminum.
• Biodegradable: PREPDECK® poses no harm to the environment.

Application
Shake the product well before application.
Stripping:
Use undiluted.
Apply PREPDECK® undiluted with a brush or synthetic roller.
Work in sections of approximately 20 minutes. Allow PREPDECK® to act for 20 minutes, ensuring it does not dry out and covers the area to be stripped well. For an old, well-maintained finish, plan for at least 2 applications of 20 minutes each.
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water using a low-pressure cleaner (max 40/50 bars) from 50 cm away to avoid damaging the wood.
On wet wood after rinsing, neutralize with NET-TROL®.
For 100% acrylic finish, prefer DSP 800*.
Degreasing/cleaning:
Dilute PREPDECK® in clean, fresh water: 1 liter of PREPDECK® to 5 to 10 liters of water depending on wood type.
Shake the mixture regularly during use.
Apply the mixture (PREPDECK® + water) with a brush or synthetic roller.
Allow to act for approximately 5 minutes for a 1/5 dilution and 10 minutes for a 1/10 dilution.
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water using a low-pressure cleaner (max 40/50 bars) from 50 cm away to avoid damaging the wood.
On wet wood after rinsing, neutralize with NET-TROL®.
Reducing glazing on new wood or preparing the surface before protection:
Dilute PREPDECK® in clean, fresh water: 1 liter of PREPDECK® to 1 to 10 liters of water depending on wood type.
Apply the mixture (PREPDECK® + water) with a brush or synthetic roller.
Shake this mixture regularly during application.
Allow to act for 10 to 20 minutes maximum, and always 20 minutes for Ipé.
Rinse thoroughly with a low-pressure cleaner (max 40/50 bars) from 50 cm away to avoid damaging the wood.
On wet wood after rinsing, neutralize with NET-TROL®.
The use of NET-TROL® as indicated above is not necessary if the chosen finish is TROPITECH® All in One* (see relevant technical data sheet).
