Destination

Indoor and outdoor use.
Surfaces: metal (aluminum, steel, galvanized...), wood, old finishes (lacquers, paints), polyester, gelcoat above the waterline.

Recommendations before application

• Stir well.
• The surface must be perfectly dry, clean, and degreased.
• Perform a preliminary test.
• The temperature of the substrate should be between 5°C and 35°C.
• The ambient temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C.
• Be aware of morning dew and the risk of rain.
• Do not apply in full sunlight during the hottest hours of the day. Ensure that it will not rain within 24/48 hours after application.
Relative humidity should be around 50% for optimal drying. Do not apply on surfaces exceeding 25°C.

Application


Drying times are provided for a temperature of approximately 20°C with 50% relative humidity.
If atmospheric conditions are lower or higher than these data, this should be taken into consideration to adjust drying and overcoating times.

Apply OWALAK in thin coats, preferably with a lacquer roller or spray gun. Allow between 4 and 8 hours drying time between each coat. Apply in 2 or even 3 coats if necessary.
Apply approximately 150 microns wet per coat. This results in a dry film thickness of approximately 90 microns per thin coat.
