Description
OWAFILTER is a clear, water-based anti-yellowing impregnation for interior use. It slows down the yellowing of light-coloured softwood and hardwood thanks to the presence of anti-UV agents, insulating resins and special additives. This product contains no fungicides.
Destination
For interior use on light-coloured softwoods and hardwoods (not suitable for dark and/or stained woods). Can also be used on glued laminated timber.

Recommendations before application
Apply OWAFILTER to wood that must be clean, dry, non-greasy and free of any finish before application. If the surface needs to be cleaned or degreased, use SOAPCLEAN.
Stir the product before use.

Application
As OWAFILTER is colourless, be careful not to forget to treat certain areas.
On new wood :
Sand (80 grit) and dust the wood to ensure good penetration of the product.
Apply a coat of OWAFILTER.
Allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours before applying the finish. For best results, remove any fibres that may have risen by ultra-fine sanding (400).
OWAFILTER should be overcoated with any alkyd or acrylic varnish or paint, single- or two-component.
On previously painted, stained or varnished wood :
Strip the wood with DSP 800 (refer to the DSP 800 technical data sheet).
Allow the wood to dry thoroughly before applying OWAFILTER.
Apply one coat of OWAFILTER.
Allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours before applying the finish. For best results, remove any fibres that may have risen by ultra-fine sanding (400).
OWAFILTER must be covered by any alkyd or acrylic varnish or paint, single or two-component.
