Recommendations before application

• Stir well before and during use.
• The surface must be perfectly dry, clean, and degreased.
• Cover everything that should not be painted.
• Perform a preliminary test.
• The temperature of the substrate should be between 5°C and 35°C.
• The ambient temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C.

Application

Drying times are provided for a temperature of approximately 20°C with 50% relative humidity. If atmospheric conditions are lower or higher than these data, this should be taken into consideration to adjust drying and overcoating times.

Apply OWAGRIP in 1 or 2 thin coats, preferably with a lacquer roller or short-haired brush. Do not apply with a spray gun. Allow a minimum of 6 hours drying time between each coat. Refer to the "Technical Specifications" section for drying times.
Apply approximately 150 to 200 microns wet per coat. This results in a dry film thickness of approximately 100 to 150 microns per thin coat. If the overcoating interval exceeds 5 days (between PID 60 MARINE* primer and OWAGRIP), degrease using a solvent such as White Spirit, then lightly sand PID 60 MARINE* with a 220-320 grade. Finally, carefully remove any dust with a cloth.
OWAGRIP can be tinted with a universal colorant (2 to 3%). Conduct a test beforehand on a small surface. Ensure that the colorant pigments are resistant to UV.
