VEGAFLOOR® GLOSS : Single-component clear polyurethane varnish for normal traffic

High-performance single-component water-based glossy varnish, easy to apply and with optimal mechanical and chemical resistance, including to ammonia-based products.

Its formula makes it NON-slippery.
VEGAFLOOR® is colorless, odorless, and does not yellow over time.

• Beautifies and protects stairs, parquet floors, and interior floors, whether new or old. Adds warmth and shine.

Normal traffic areas: bedrooms, living rooms...
Heavy traffic areas: corridors, stairs, dining rooms…

Applies to all wood species commonly used in this type of work.

To avoid deep scratches caused by sanding, perform a test sanding with a parquet sander equipped with a 40 or 50 grit sandpaper.

Depending on the visual result obtained, gradually proceed to a finer grit, up to 80 or 100, or start with a coarser grit (grit < 40) for a heavily soiled and uneven floor.
Use an edger for edges, a scraper, or a wood chisel for corners.
If necessary, fill cracks < 2 mm with LIANFLOOR®* and resume sanding with 80 or 100 grit sandpaper, depending on the last grit used.
Finish with final sanding up to grits 120 to 150 depending on the wood species and wear layer thickness.

Thoroughly stir the product using a spatula. Use a helical mixer if necessary. Allow it to rest for a few minutes before application.
Apply a first even coat of VEGAFLOOR®. Make 3 crisscross passes in one application, facing the light and starting from the opposite side of the door, progressing towards it.
Begin with the edges, then cover the entire surface, working in zones of 2m by 2m.
Avoid opening windows during application to prevent too rapid drying.
Let it dry for 3 to 4 hours depending on ambient conditions.
Proceed with sanding (grit size #150 to #180), then meticulously remove any dust.
Apply the second coat of VEGAFLOOR®. Do not exceed 12 hours between the application of the two coats.
